Members

Member is the physical object connecting two nodes with material and section properties.

Create members

Member types

  • MemberType.Beam - axial + bending/torsion behavior.
  • MemberType.Truss - axial-dominant behavior.

Removal

var removed = model.RemoveMember(member);

Notes

  • Adding a member auto-registers its start/end nodes in the model if needed.
  • Any member change invalidates previously attached result sets.
